First creates a real drama over Health & Safety [view the video]
International public transport providers First Group – pioneers of the famous US Greyhound buses and of the UK’s purple and blue trains and buses, recently commissioned CD&P MEDIA to help create a multi-platform health and safety initiative, focused on reducing the numbers of injuries to people – especially older people – using bus transport.
Called ‘People First’, the resulting concept is a combined DVD and training programme which will be delivered during the next two months, using the medium of drama documentary to highlight its messages.
Initial filming work was undertaken in Oldham and is centred on an individual character, whose journey illustrates some of the dangers and pitfalls encountered by older passengers.
The clip shown here is from initial rehearsals only, and illustrates the distinctive tones and textures of the filming and production.
